The client needed to secure a high-value sale to a new buyer in the UAE. The key challenges were the risk of payment default, potential document discrepancies causing delays, and coordinating between their European bank and the buyer's bank in the UAE.
Approach
We designed a confirmed Letter of Credit structure under UCP 600. Our approach included:
- **Document Playbook:** A detailed checklist and templates for all required documents (Commercial Invoice, B/L, COO).
- **Timeline Coordination:** An integrated timeline aligning production, shipping, and document presentation deadlines.
- **Bank Coordination:** Facilitating communication between the client's bank (advising) and the buyer's bank (issuing) to ensure smooth confirmation.
- **Document Playbook:** A detailed checklist and templates for all required documents (Commercial Invoice, B/L, COO).
